Here's a little owl in black and orange to brighten a scrapbook, blog or website. Might make a cute card, too.
I've been having fits with these images. Whenever possible, I'm using the png format. I like it much better than the jpg format, and I think you'll find my pngs are much clearer than the jpgs. The jpgs lose too much quality when I save my creations drawn in Paint Shop Pro, the program I use. The pngs are a bit bigger, but I think they'll still load quickly.
Here is an owl and some corn, taken from a very old postcard, and redone vintage-style on a Halloween 2008 graphic that can be sent as an e-card or used on a blog or website. Hope you enjoy.
This is a clickable thumbnail. The larger image is much clearer. Click, let the larger image load, then right-click to save.
Today, a website graphic and an Etsy shop banner for the owl fans.
I loved owls when they were considered passe and will keep on loving them as they pass through their cycles of popularity and unpopularity.
We have many burrowing owls out here. They pop right out of the prairie dog tunnels and stand on their long, long legs, scowling gently. They give a cry much like the cry of the "dogs." I know, they eat little mices, which I also love...
Left-click the thumbnail, then right-click and save the larger graphic. Keep those requests coming! Thanks!
Please do NOT "hot link" to the graphics! This means that you must SAVE any graphic you like to your OWN computer, and UPLOAD it to Etsy, eBay or your own blog yourself. I use a free Photobucket account to "store" my graphics. You can, too! It's easy!
Use Our Friend Google to search for instructions on how to add a custom header or sidebar to your site -- there are many helpful geeks out there.
PLEASE spread the word about our free graphics. Links and mentions are always appreciated but not required.
